Stratis Health to Develop Compliance Toolkit for Minnesota Home Care and Assisted Living Providers
Posted on November 13, 2025 by Bobbie Guidry
Stratis Health has been selected by the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) to create an educational toolkit to support compliance with state regulations for new and current home care and assisted living providers.
The project is funded by fines paid by Assisted Living and Home Care Providers for violations identified during surveys by MDH. These monies were to be spent for “special projects to improve resident quality of care and outcomes in assisted living facilities.” The statute changed last legislative session so that any remaining monies after this project will be put into a special grant program, which is still under development.
Compliance
The resources being developed by Stratis Health will allow new provider applicants to determine if they can comply with statutory requirements before applying for a license. The materials will also be designed to help current providers meet regulatory compliance requirements and deliver the highest possible quality of care.
“We look forward to co-creating resources to assist home care and assisted living providers, a timely and important project as demand for home care and assisted living increases and new regulations are in place,” said Jennifer Lundblad, President and CEO. “Ultimately, this effort will help assure that providers are delivering high-quality care for those that they serve.”
Stratis Health will collaborate with MDH and the Home Care and Assisted Living Advisory Council to create forms, develop a toolkit, and provide education.
