Why Leaders Make Time for Annual Meeting

Posted on July 16, 2026 by Sharon Hollister

What makes the Annual Meeting & Leadership Forum different from other educational events? It starts with purpose. While many education programs focus on regulations, operations, or role-specific skills, Annual Meeting is intentionally designed to help leaders step back from the day-to-day and focus on the bigger picture.

Each year, the program explores the strategic issues shaping the future of aging services—from workforce and payment reform to artificial intelligence, consumer trends, organizational growth, and leadership.

Just as valuable are the conversations that happen between sessions. Annual Meeting brings together CEOs, home office teams, regional leaders, site leaders, and other decision-makers from across Minnesota to share ideas, learn from one another, and gain perspective that's difficult to find when you're immersed in the demands of daily operations.

Whether Annual Meeting has been on your calendar for years or you're considering attending for the first time, you'll return with fresh ideas, new connections, and practical insights to help you lead your organization forward. We hope you’ll join us Sept. 15-18 at Grand View Lodge in Nisswa.

Early bird registration is available through August 14. View the conference brochure, explore the agenda, and reserve your place today.
