Carver County Rent Assistance Program Open Now
Posted on March 12, 2026 by Shelli Bakken
Members who provide housing or assisted living in Carver County should be aware of a limited program of rent assistance that could help renters who are experiencing financial hardship for their housing costs.
This program, a collaboration between Carver County Community Development Agency (CCCDA) and Bountiful Basket, opened on February 17 and will continue until their funding has been exhausted.
Eligibility is for residents of Carver County only and for renters who are behind on rent or utilities by one or more months. Applicants must be below 80% of area median income.
The attached document outlines specific eligibility criteria, as well as instructions on how to apply. If you are working on an issue of nonpayment or delinquency of rent with a resident of independent or assisted living in Carver County, this program may be a part of the solution you can offer to your renter.
