Infection Control, Investigations vs. Surveys Featured Topics at Feb. 20 Home Care Matters Webinar

Posted on February 13, 2019 by Bobbie Guidry

The next Home Care Matters webinar, hosted by Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Home Care and Assisted Living Program, takes place on Wednesday, Feb. 20.

On this quarter’s call, the Collaborative Healthcare Association Infection Network (CHAIN) will discuss influenza control and prevention. In addition, the Office of Health Facility Complaints will discuss investigations and how they are different from home care license surveys.

During the webinar, home care providers will also be able to hear from MDH about regulatory issues, ask questions and discuss issues affecting home care in Minnesota. MDH welcomes questions about home care regulations but is not able to respond to questions that are specific to your business practices or client care.

For more information, email health.homecare@state.mn.us or call (651) 201-5273.
