Now Available: Free Safety Technology Toolkit

LeadingAge CAST released a new Safety Technologies Toolkit that will help members prevent falls, the leading cause of fatal and non-fatal injuries for older adults.  

The five-part resource is the first-ever toolkit devoted to safety technology for use in long-term and post-acute care environments. The toolkit is free and features a whitepaper, an interactive guide, an online product selection tool and a product selection matrix comparing 34 products from 18 vendors, as well as case studies from providers improving outcomes with safety technology. 

The whitepaper also includes a section for providers on Medicaid waiver coverage, and a discussion on how to incorporate these technologies into your operations and calculate the return on investment.
