Safe Care for Seniors: Will You Be Recognized at this Year’s Institute?

Posted on February 24, 2021 by Julie Apold

Last year, we recognized the first fifty-one LeadingAge Minnesota members who had been named to the Safe Care for Seniors Action Honor Roll. This year we are on track to recognize several additional organizations that have demonstrated key actions within each of the 5 Safe Care Action Steps. We will also be recognizing our first group of members who have achieved the highest level of Safe Care – the Excellence Level.

It is not too late to be included on this distinguished list. If you are participating in Safe Care for Seniors, and have actions in place for each of the 5 Action Steps, you can access the data portal on the Safe Care for Seniors site to update your progress. If you are currently not participating in Safe Care for Seniors, contact Julie Apold, Vice Presidents of Quality & Performance Excellence, japold@leadingagemn.org, to learn how you can get involved in this important initiative.

We are looking forward to honoring our newest Safe Care Action Level and Excellence Level Honor Roll Recipients at the Institute in May.
