Who’s Your Rich? Nominations Sought for Spirit of Aging Award

Posted on August 22, 2018 by Barbara Landeen

The Stars Among Us Award program is open for the 2019 recognition awards and we want to know, Who’s YOUR Rich?

If you were at the Institute in February, you witnessed one of the highlights of the year when Rich Sasche, resident at Trillium Woods in Plymouth, was honored with the prestigious statewide Spirit of Aging Award for his active lifestyle and engagement in many activities at the community including leading a support group for other male caregivers. See his story here.

Now it’s your turn to tell us about your amazing residents, tenants and clients! The Spirit of Aging Award celebrates an older adult who embodies active and vibrant aging and makes a positive difference in the lives of other seniors.

Nominations for the 2019 Stars Among Us Awards are open through Sept. 14. All members are welcome and encouraged to submit nominations for your amazing caregivers, volunteers, leaders, and the great work your organization is doing to enhance the experience of aging.

All award recipients will be honored at the 2019 Institute & Expo in February. Click here for all the details.
