When the Home Care Law was revised in 2013, an option was added to allow licensees to apply for Integrated Licensure and a Home and Community-Based Services designation effective in 2015. The designation allows the licensee to provide any of six basic support services under their home care license that would otherwise also require a 245D license.

The first major overhaul of rules governing home health agencies in almost 30 years have been published and are set to go into effect in July. The requirements do not apply to state-only licensed home care agencies, but do apply to any Medicare-certified agencies.
